About Chad Templeton, Esq.

Chad R. Templeton, the founder of Templeton Law, was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. His journey in law began by earning a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Florida State University and his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.

Following his admission to the Bar, Chad embarked on a career as a private criminal defense attorney with a prominent criminal defense firm in Panama City. During his tenure, Chad honed his skills in the courtroom, handling cases spanning from DUI to serious felony charges. However, it was after Hurricane Michael that Chad’s professional trajectory took a new direction.

Relocating with his family to Gainesville, Florida, Chad discovered his passion for guiding families through the complexities of estate planning, probate, and elder law matters. His personal experience with family members affected by Dementia and Alzheimer’s emphasized the critical need for trustworthy legal counsel in elder law and estate planning.

In 2020, Chad returned to his hometown of Panama City and established Templeton Law, where he is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive legal services to individuals and families in their time of need.
